Marketing agency service areas

Our marketing agency service areas are three metros: one we are based in and two we work with remotely. Each page states which it is at the top.

We are based in Franklin, Tennessee, and nowhere else.

Why we say it this way

Why the list is three metros and not thirty

The common version of this page lists twenty cities, each with a near-identical page, none of which mentions that the company operates from a single state. Google classes those as doorway pages.

So there are three, each page states whether we are based there before anything else, and the remote ones are shorter because there is less to say. If we can't write something specific and true about a market, it does not get a page.

The practical consequence: outside Nashville we can't get you into the map pack, because that depends on proximity to the person searching. Everything else works at any distance.

Frequently asked

Questions about our marketing agency service areas

Which of these are you actually based in?

Franklin, Tennessee, where all of us are. Nashville is our home market and the only metro where a Franklin address can produce map pack results. Birmingham and Richmond are remote, and each of those pages states that at the top.

Why list metros you are not based in?

Because we have clients in them, and those clients should be able to find a page stating what we can and can't do from here. A page implying a local presence we do not have is not worth the traffic.

What can you not do remotely?

Map pack results, which depend on an address near the person searching, and local link building, which depends on knowing the market. Technical search, paid campaigns, conversion tracking, CRM integration and software development are unaffected by distance, and all of it runs over calls and Google Meets either way.

Why are your marketing agency service areas so short a list?

Because a longer list would not be accurate. Firms that list thirty cities and operate from one are publishing doorway pages. We list the metro we are in and the two where we have clients, and each page states which it is.

Do you work outside these three metros?

Yes, for the remote-friendly work. These three are where we have enough clients to say something specific about the market. Elsewhere we can do the same remote work but will not claim knowledge of your local search landscape. That matters little for search and ads, and considerably for anything involving the map.

Do you plan to add more locations?

Only where we have clients. A page goes up when we are already working with someone in that metro. If you are somewhere we do not list, ask anyway, because the remote work is the same wherever you are.

How do meetings work?

The first one is a call or a Google Meet about what is not working. If it looks like a fit, the team joins a second session with an audit of your site and a proposal if you want one. That runs remotely wherever you are, and the decision after it is yours.

Does it cost more to work with you from another state?

No. Pricing is the same wherever you are, with no distance premium and no remote discount. Starting figures are on the pricing page.

Proximity is one of the three factors Google names as driving local results, alongside relevance and prominence. It is the one an agency can't work around, which is why these pages are written the way they are.
