How long does a build take?

Do you sell software development services on a monthly retainer?
Only after something is built and live. Retainers suit keeping software running and shipping changes. For a first build a fixed price protects you, so that is what we quote.
Do we own the code?
Yes. The code, the accounts and the deploy are yours, in your own repository from the first commit. You can move it to another firm at any point.
Can you work on software somebody else built?
Usually. We read it first and tell you whether repairing or replacing it costs less. Sometimes the answer is to keep it and connect it to something else, which is cheaper than both.
Are you a software development agency or a consultancy?
An agency. We build and ship software. Software development consulting is part of the work, because deciding what to build is half the value, but we do not sell strategy documents on their own. If a project only needs advice, we say so.
